The Four Seasons Tianjin is located in what is known as the ‘Times Square’ of Tianjin and in the heart of a vibrant shopping and historic district.
The hotel’s arrival area and drop-off canopy are lifted to the second floor to create a thoughtfully choreographed arrival experience. This also allows the urban retail experience on the ground floor to continue uninterrupted.
The circulation flow and arrival experience that leads both vehicles and pedestrians to the new entrance were carefully studied, with separate routes then created for vehicles and pedestrians, ensuring that both would have the same luxurious experience.
As an added touch, screens and lights are created along the arrival routes to connect both the vehicular and pedestrian routes. Inspiration for this feature is drawn from the faceted aluminum facade of the hotel’s cutting-edge tower.
