The lush surroundings of Hangzhou, with its mesmerizing clear lake, manicured gardens and bamboo forests provide a poetic backdrop for this architectural scheme for the St. Regis Hotel.
The design takes cues from the surrounding hillside villages and reinterprets them, resulting in a sensitively-scaled design that is a confident mix of old and new.
